In certain floors of the Ozo Lounge, there are jukeboxes for players to pay a coin to play music.
I had the pleasure of designing the interface!
The main brief
A physical interaction to start music in the bar.
There will be a finite amount of songs, which can be changed out regularly.
We should angle the interface towards the players gaze so they can select and watch with ease.
The play button will only light up after a token has been inserted.
If the player selects a song, and nothing is done after 10 seconds, return to the playing screen.
Downloading State
This state is upon joining a room, the jukebox downloads the tracks that can be played. We’ll show this state until the playlist is downloaded before switching to Default state.

Default State
The default state is when things are active to use. A song is not playing so the jukebox can be interacted with. The buttons on the side with the song numbers are lit up to show the player they can push them. Pushing a button shows the info of song which is the next state.

Song Selected State
This is when a button is pressed. We should have a way to light up the button just pressed to show feedback. On-screen we see information for the song.
The number, name, and artist are shown alongside the instructions on paying to start playing.

Coin Inserted State
Once the coin has been inserted, the play button lights up when a song has been selected. Pressing the play button will start the song playing and go to the playing screen.

Playing state
Once the play button has been pressed, we show the playing screen.
The music is playing and we show the overview of the song and it’s runtime. This allows the player to have the expectation of when they can play next.
No buttons work in this mode, the song has to be finished in order to turn to the default state.

Ergonomics
Since the screen is at chest height, a slight angling will help it meet the gaze of the player.

Artwork
We can support artwork also if there's any made for the songs.
